CLEARHEAD FINDS BEAUTY IN THE EVERYDAY WITH NEW SINGLE "ALL THESE NORMAL THINGS"
Atmospheric Dreamo Project Explores Gratitude Through Collaborative Evolution
CHICAGO, IL (December 5, 2024) — Post-rock project Clearhead returns with “All These Normal Things,” a sprawling meditation on finding gratitude in life’s simple moments. The track marks a sonic evolution through creative collaboration, featuring ethereal vocals from Morgan Gensler alongside Max’s signature atmospheric sound. “All These Normal Things” will be available on all major streaming platforms December 6, 2024.
“For me, it’s about doing my best to feel gratitude by focusing on the normal everyday things,” explains Gensler. The single showcases a new chapter in Clearhead’s artistry, with Gensler embracing a more collaborative approach to recording. Working alongside engineer Simon (@tunnelofreverb) and producer Nate Hopwood (@lulustarr), the track features expansive, open chord structures and compelling vocal arrangements that blend Max’s lower register with Morgan’s harmonies to create a sonic landscape.
The song’s accompanying artwork, photographed by Gensler, captures flowers breaking through concrete and wrapping around a rusted fence – a visual metaphor that perfectly encapsulates the track’s themes of finding beauty in everyday resilience.
