New Track Marks A Big Ol’ Collab Among Pals

NASHVILLE, TN – January 19, 2024

Nashville-based alt rock duo Carolina Drama has teamed up with local singer-songwriter Haley Durham on the playful new single “Don’t Think,” set for release today. The collaboration marks Durham’s celebrated return after years away from music and brings her signature vocals to Carolina Drama’s grungy alt rock sound.

The collaboration arose organically, as the two acts knew each other from their college days. While Carolina Drama had worked on “Don’t Think” for years, they struggled to find the right female vocalist for the call-and-response track. But as soon as Durham layered her soulful vocals over the band’s work in the studio, it was clear she fit wonderfully alongside lead singer Austin’s vocal

“As soon as Haley opened her mouth to sing, we knew she was a perfect fit,” said Sam. “Her delivery and ad libs took the whole vibe of the song to the next level.”

Durham added: “I’m so excited to be back singing again with talented musicians like Carolina Drama behind me. ‘Don’t Think’ has been stuck in my head for months!”

“Don’t Think” is the second single from Carolina Drama’s forthcoming EP Warm Regards, due later this year. Fans can listen to the track starting today at carolinadrama.carbonatedrecords.com. The music video for the track, featuring Durham alongside the band, also premieres today.
