Portland Producer Reminisces on the Comforts of Home in New Single

PORTLAND, OR – August 9, 2023

Portland-based bedroom pop artist jbsynk announces his new single “Homecoming,” set for release on August 9, 2023. Inspired by his experience leaving his hometown and returning to find comfort there once again, “Homecoming” showcases jbsynk’s signature blend of indie, punk, and lo-fi pop.

On the track, jbsynk’s evocative guitar tones accompany his introspective lyrics exploring the feeling of going back home after time away. With raw, intimate songwriting, he transports listeners into his musical world where he reconnects with his roots.

Since 2021, jbsynk has been releasing solo work nodding to his 90s boy band influences. His upcoming single “Homecoming” continues his heartfelt musical journey. With nomadic travels behind him for now, jbsynk hopes the song reminds listeners of the comforts of home.

Jbsynk is the indie bedroom pop project of guitarist Joel Beussink. His raw, intimate songs transport listeners into his lo-fi musical world. After nomadic travels, the St. Louis-born artist began releasing singles in 2021 under the jbsynk moniker, nodding to his love of 90s boy bands.
