ABOUT
Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, jbsynk is the indie bedroom pop project of guitarist Joel Beussink. His intimate, guitar-fueled songs brim with raw emotion and transport listeners into jbsynk’s musical world.
Joel first started playing guitar in 2005 but began writing his own material years later after nomadic travels across America. The appropriately titled BYSYNK! Vol 1. marked jbsynk’s debut release in 2021, with sleepy, lo-fi singles dropping regularly since.
Collaborations with fellow indie artists like redmesa and laur reveal jbsynk’s collaborative spirit, while his stage name playfully nods to a fierce love for 90s boy band *NSYNC. Though his music emanates from solitary late nights in the studio, jbsynk’s towering frame often surprises audiences and new fans upon first meeting.
